Spideweeney!

Yes I made that word up... Okay, I know it's lame, but I like it! Don't you just love all of the fun and colors and CANDY at Halloween. I swear every time I walk past those Halloween gadgets at Walgreen's or Michael's that scream "I see you", I gain a pound. I have so much fun making Halloween cards. this one I made for my monthly swap at BStamps & Stuff. The spider flourish is from a set called Halloween Trails by Inkadinkado. This set is AWESOME! You can see more of it on their web site, Inkadinkado.com. Inka's clear stamp sets stamp out beautifully. I have had nothing but fantastic results with these stamp sets. Back to the card.... the DP is some I have had for a couple of years, and didn't have the manufacturer. I used the spider web Cuttlebug embossing folder. The little plastic spider and ribbon is from the Halloween aisle at your friendly discount store. Until next time "Happy Spideweeney"!

Rain or Shine

Welcome the rain! I'm thankful Gustav didn't create more damage than he did. Today seems like the real end of summer. Really, I like these cool rainy days. It feels so fallish. Is that a word? I'm sure we will still have some hot days here in East Texas. I hope I haven't showed you this card already, but here it is. Isn't it so appropriate. Enjoy!

Imagination

I've this Impression Obsession stamp for a while now. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it, but have not used it till now. When I saw this DP from GCD studios, the Zen Garden Collection, I knew it was perfect for the stamp. You can get both of these at BStamps & Stuff, my favorite hangout. Bonnie will be in Canton this weekend, but Sheela and I will be manning the store. Drop by and say Hi!

Life is in Bloom

Wow! Where did the summer go? We do need the rain, and these cooler temps are so nice, but I'M NOT DONE YET! I still want to make a few more trips to the water park. I'm trying to keep my cruise tan. I know, I know, I live in East Texas. I really don't have anything to worry about, do I? We will have plenty more "Hot" days. I have been busy this weekend.... stamping. I made another card with daisies, but it's so pretty! On this card I used several different stamps. The watering can is Impression Obsession, the daisies is Cornish Heritage Farms, and Life is in Bloom is by Printworks. The DP is the Ashville line from Scenic Route. Aren't they all so pretty? Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy.

This Bud's for you!

Gotcha with that title, didn't I? I did make this card for my stamper's night swap at BStamps & Stuff happening later this month. If you don't know by now Bonnie has moved BStamps just a few doors down. She has been working so hard to get the store open. The place will be small and cozy, but really nice. As soon as she opens, please go by for a visit. I promise you will not be disappointed. I'm thrilled we still have a stamp store!!! On this card I used my Cuttlebug swiss dot embossing folder. I love saying that word... embossing folder... sounds like I know what I'm doing! The stamp is Impression Obsessions "Three Windows" that I colored with my pencils. Add some ribbon,a brad,a butterfly and Voila!!! Enjoy!

Gratitude

What a grand feeling needing thank you cards. I'm very fortunate to need thank you cards. Just saying thank you doesn't seem quite enough. I hope sending cards made just for them says much more. I spent today making cards. Boy, was I in the "zone". I am so happy in that "zone". I'm going to share two of the cards I made today. The daisy stamp is from Cornish Heritage Farms. Ain't that ribbon the bomb! The ribbon and pretty papers are from Papertrey Ink. They have the prettiest ribbon with matching papers and ink. Hope you enjoy!

Whoot! Whoot!

I know it's been awhile since I posted. I'm truly sorry, and yes I know I have said this before. I'm going to try very hard to keep in touch more with you guys. I have had an exciting summer. I went on my cruise, OMG you have got to take one if you never have, and I visited my sister recently. Going to her house is like a spa resort. For the first time in my life I have a beautiful tan. I have always burned, and I'm so proud of my tan. I'm sharing a card with you today that I made for my baby son's birthday (he turned 26) in June, and still acts like a baby sometimes. I love these owls from Cornish Heritage Farms, as always I colored them with my beloved primacolor pencils. They are just too cute, and you are too Blake. Happy Birthday Son. Thanks for stopping by and allowing me to share with you all!
