Just a little more....

Surprise, Surprise! I can't believe I'm back again so soon! Tried to get out today and do some weeding around the house in my little garden areas. You know what? It is still hot outside. Let's just say, I didn't stay too long. Daisy, Minnie, and Tigger were looking at me like "mama, what are you thinking?" I decided real quick they needed me indoors with them. Even Tigger, that little scamp, was standing still just long enough to look at me like I was crazy. Just decided to share a few more cards I've made for my monthly swap group. Enjoy!

Still Here!

You've proably figured out by now I'm not very good at this blogging thing. You can see what's been on my mind lately. His name is Alex! Ain't he just the cutest thing you ever saw? Going to show you tonight just a few of the cards I've made lately. I will admit I've been scrapping more than stamping. OH NO! Yes, it's true!
You know I just love my colored pencils, I have delved into the world of Copic markers. Oh my gosh! Don't say it too loud, but I love those things. They are so much fun! The cards I'm showing you tonight are done with copics. Enjoy!

Hot!

It is really, really, HOT here in Northeast Texas. We have had several 100+ days, and with our humidity, it is HORRID! My heart goes out to anyone who has to work out in this heat. Take a minute and check on the elderly in your family or neighbors, or just anyone you think my need assistance in this heat. Very importantly, check on your pets that may stay outside. They need plenty of water and shelter from the sun. On to other things! My new grandson has inspired me to scrapbook again, and he gives me the perfect subject. He is absolutely ADORABLE, and I'm not in the least prejudice. (hehe) Take a look at some of the pages I've done....

Birthdays

With spring, our family has birthdays coming. Most of my families birthdays are in the spring and summer months, except my oldest son, he is a Christmas baby. We were having wonderful warm weather, and then we had our usual Easter cold spell. My prayers are with all of our norhtern neighbors who are having some winter related problems. I'm posting one of my birthday cards I made. I'm still experimenting with copic markers. I'm really growing fond of these markers. If they just were not so darn expensive! If you look around on the web, you can find some places who have them 25% off of the regular price, and I also use my coupon at Hobby Lobby. WooHoo! We are getting a bigger, newer Hobby Lobby in mid April. On this card I used a Stampin Up stamp set, my copics, and a Martha Stewart punch. Sorry, I don't know who made the patterned paper. Enjoy!

Happy Spring!

The usual East Texas weather going on!! Warm days, cool days, cold days, stormy days..... Whatever! But you know, warmer weather means yard work. Ugh! Do I really want to do that? The Spring does mean I get to pull out some of my all time favorite Penney Black stamps. Don't you just love those hedgehogs! I've been playing with the copic markers again, and they are really fun. I think one thing I like about them is coloring goes faster. Here a couple of cards I've made this weekend. Hope everyone had a great Valentine's Weekend. Enjoy....

Happy Heart Day!

I guess Valentines's Day is right up there with my favorite day for card making. I guess because it is such a happy day. We should tell our love ones we love them so much everyday. Happy Valentine's Day to all of my loved ones, and my friends. I have some of the best friends. They are so supporting, encouraging, and always there to listen to my whining, and here lately that is everyday. Here are some of the Valentine cards for my kids. I have the worst time making masculine Valentine Cards, and since I have one sweet daughter-in-law and one sweet granddaughter, and and 2 sons, 2 grandsons and only one husband (lol), you would think I could do this. Girls are so much more fun! Oh, how could I forget, my 2 babygirls! The Chihuahuas! Our new little baby boy Chihuahua, is proving to be quite the scamp. When we first got him, he was such a sick little baby. After great care by our vet who just happens to be the best vet in the world. Dr. Susan Little, and her staff is the best! We are not use to such little antics. He chews on everything! I caught him chewing on one of my stamps. HOW did he get it? He has torn up one of my Paper Crafting magazines, chewed up a houseshoe, some of the toys my girls have had for years. He is 3lbs. of terror, but oh so cute! Back to the Valentine cards. Oh, I colored these with my copic markers! No, I'm not abandoning my beloved pencils, but these markers are so much fun. Here they are! Enjoy!

Hoot Hello!

Yes, it's been awhile. Alot has happened around the house lately. We've added some rather new exciting additions to our family. I am now a grandmother and a new mommy. Don't panic! Let me explain: We rescued a little baby boy, a new brother for my girls. Hes' such a cutie, and just as sweet. Meet Tigger a 3lb. Chihuahua. My husband doesn't feel quite so outnumbered now. Although I was the only girl for years. We have two wonderful sons. One of whom became a daddy on January 26th. Alex Craig Evers, 8lbs 1oz. 20 3/4 inches long. Of course, I included a picture. I have had a little time lately to do some stamping. So let me share with you what I've done.... Both of these stamps can be found at BStamps & Stuff. Enjoy!
